Darrell Copeland is a stewardship consultant with RSI. He joined the staff following 24 years in ministry, including 13 years as a Senior Minister. In his most recent pastorate, the church received honor as the fastest growing congregation in the state for two consecutive years. Darrell led the church through a capital stewardship campaign for property acquisition and building expansion. Darrell knows first-hand the necessary components for successful strategic growth. His experience as a pastor is invaluable to congregations as they plan to achieve their maximum potential for vitality and expansion.

A sought-after conference speaker, Darrell's communication and inspiration abilities are his consulting hallmarks. He recently led the North Wake Church in Wake Forest, North Carolina through a campaign for relocation. Meeting in a funeral home, the congregation committed over 5 times their annual income to move into a new facility. Darrell has led more than 110 stewardship campaigns, raising over 250 million dollars for local ministry in multiple cultures and traditions.

Darrell earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Mobile in Mobile, Alabama, and a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Theological Seminary. An active volunteer, he is a member of the Home Owners Association in his hometown of Raleigh, North Carolina.

Darrell and his wife, Anita, are the proud parents of four grown children. In his spare time, Darrell enjoys playing golf and reading. He also takes advantage of the beautiful mountains of North Carolina, hiking and camping with his family.
