Professional Experience

Jeff Newlin brings 27 years of pastoral experience to RSI. After serving briefly as an assistant pastor in the Chicago area, Jeff became the senior pastor of several large congregations along the Eastern seaboard. As a pastor and leader, Jeff led three different congregations into successful capital campaigns. Jeff knows first hand the intricacies of capital stewardship programming from the church's perspective. As a pastor, Jeff was known as an outstanding preacher, teacher, and writer.

Since he started with RSI in 2004, Jeff has been particularly effective as a stewardship consultant and has served over 40 churches who have, on average, brought in over three times their annual budget during their campaign. Though exceptionally successful in raising dollars, Jeff finds his greatest satisfaction in the spiritual revitalization the churches and individuals he works with experience through their capital stewardship programs.
