Experience Mike Allen joined RSI in 2001 after extensive service to the church. His background includes serving as a senior minister in Alexandria, Virginia, a staff member of churches in Nashville, Louisville, and Huntsville, and a campus minister at the University of Alabama. Mike honed analytic skills by assisting others to convey their unique mission. This wide range of experience provides him with first-hand knowledge of the keys for successful strategic growth.Client Experience As Senior Executive Consultant, Mike brings the experience and knowledge to tailor a campaign for each individual congregation. This ability has enabled Mike to maximize the opportunity for a congregation to succeed in reaching its Kingdom dream. As a skilled teacher and trainer, he has gently led churches in stewardship campaigns that often represent new and frightening territory. He can address the issues of construction, renovation, relocation, and debt reduction with confidence. He arrives with the tools for successful consultation and leaves with new friends.Mike has personally led more than 100 churches in stewardship campaigns in numerous denominations and traditions raising over $200 million for local ministry as an RSI consultant. He has recently worked with Oxford-University United Methodist Church, Oxford, Mississippi, in two campaigns to add much-needed facilities for ministry and to take the lead in a significant community project. leaves with new friends.Personal Mike and his wife, Amy, are residents of Flower Mound, Texas, with their son Leland. An active member of First United Methodist, Hurst, Texas, he is heavily involved with teaching and mission projects. He participates on medical and dental mission teams to Mexico, Panama, and Guatemala. He also serves on the Board of Global Hands of Healing, a ministry support organization in Mexico and Central America. In his spare time, Mike enjoys photography, baseball and crossword puzzles. |
