The objectives of our Board and Leadership Development service are to:

• Determine existing areas of strength through which immediate growth might be possible.
• Familiarize all Board members with the critical role of voluntary support in the life of the organization and cultivate a culture of stewardship among these closest friends of the institution.
• Acquaint Board members with the basic principles of fundraising.
• Achieve a sufficient core competency among leadership to allow for more effective identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of corporate, foundation, and individual donor prospects.
• Train all Board members in cultivation and solicitation strategies.
• Plan, execute, and review for improvement a number of specific cultivation and solicitation strategies for corporate, foundation, and individual donor prospects involving appropriate volunteer leaders.
